- Located at the Teacher Education Center, NMHU's Video Conference Facility can have you meeting face-to-face with any person, anywhere in the world!
- Using the videoconferencing unit is simplicity itself. Seated in standard meeting room, you may speak in a normal tone of voice while viewing you colleagues on a thirty-two inch television monitor.
- The Picture Tel Unit at the Distance Education Center uses data lines to transmit and receive picture and sound from similar sites across the country and around the globe, allowing you to see and hear your associates as if they were in the same room.
- High-resolution graphic materials, including plans, overheads, and three-dimensional objects may be shared from each site. Videotapes or computer displays may also be incorporated into your presentation.
- For meetings involving multiple locations, up to twenty-four sites may be linked to the same video conference using the Multi-Point Controller, or bridging unit .
