Personally identifiable information sent to NMHU, such as an email message requesting information on admissions, may be seen and addressed by staff for the purposes necessary to serve a sender's needs. New Mexico Highlands University does not collect personally identifiable information about individuals except when individuals intentionally provide such information in a question, transaction, on a web form or other web-based communication sent to the university. The NMHU web site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of information under our control. It will not be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties without explicit consent or unless required by law.

NMHU may collect non-personal information-items such as date & time, a visitor's web browser and version, the pages visited and the referring site-to perform statistical analyses and user trends and interests and to generate general reports based on this information.
