This workshop will present the definition, symptoms, features, diagnosis, medical treatment and facts vs. myths of bipolar disorder. It will include the presenter’s personal story of recovery and her experiences with stigmas. The role of peer support on the clinical team will be described. The learner will be better able to infuse principles and elements of recovery-oriented practice into conventional clinical services.
