Moving Past the Grief: Helping People Find Hope and Meaning After Loss

Michelle Linn-Gust, Ph.D.

6 CEUs

Life is filled with loss and change. Often people are told they are strong, that they will get through it, but
they don't often have the skills to cope, much less move forward, set goals, and accomplish them. Many people
get caught in the rumination of what was lost when they have the opportunity to go forward and reinvent
themselves and their lives. This workshop will focus on coping strategies to help someone ease the immediate
pain of the situation in one's life while also learning how to set and achieve goals and go forward to create the most meaningful, hopeful life possible out of loss and change.
