Homecoming 2010
Homecoming 2010 will be Oct. 1, and 2, 2010. Start planning now! Game will be Saturday, Oct. 2. We will be honoring the class of 1960 with an induction of alumni into the Golden Society.

We are looking for volunteers to be Class Agents for Homecoming events. Class agents will work with the Alumni office to provide activities for their class for Homecoming 2010 including making contacts with their peers to provide information and encourage participation. TKE 2010 Reunion
Alumni members of the TKE Fraternity held a reunion at Red River Ski Area August 7 and 8. There were 30 members in attendance with their families. Jim Carberry was named the new TKE Alumni President. Most of the alumni attending were members from 1964 through 1975.
New President for Las Vegas Chapter
Louie Trujillo has been elected President of the Las Vegas Chapter of Alumni. Louie, BA ’94-MA ’97, is a former city councilman and currently works at the state hospital as director of quality control. Ruth and Ken Mares will be co-vice presidents. Also on the chapter board are Lou Ann Romero, Henrietta Griego, Bobby Gutierrez, Ernesto Salazar and Corine and Nick Leger.
NMHU License Plates Update
The first 100 NMHU license plates are sold and alumni and friends can visit the Motor Vehicle Department to pick up a plate. Just $37 of which $25 is returned to the university for faculty, staff and campus projects. Can't beat that deal!
