Iron Tribe 2013 at Highlands

An iron artist stokes the furnace during the New Mexico Highlands University performance casting event March 7. The performance was part of Iron Tribe, a biannual event fine arts professor David Lobdell established that has gained an international reputation. The event also included an iron art exhibit featuring the work of New Mexico, national and international iron artists, an iron art symposium, and a community production casting session at the university’s foundry.
