In Partnership with Santa Fe Community College
Highlands in partnership with SFCC offers upper division (300- and 400-level) courses and graduate courses in education and business. The courses lead to a B.A. degree, provide state education licensure, provide an M.A. degree, or offer professional development. Students that enter Highlands with an A.A. or A.S. degree, including the common core, will be able to begin work on their program requirements immediately. Students with an A.A.S. will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis.
The courses in the various programs are sequenced, allowing students to plan their program while working or tending to family responsibilities.
Courses are held on-site at SFCC and are taught by Highlands faculty. Classes meet once a week in the evenings or weekends to accommodate working students. Dual enrollment allows qualified students to pursue an A.A. or A.S. degree at the community college while taking courses at Highlands.
